Decking materials

Decks are mainly made of materials that are more weather-resistant than other timbers used in construction. The effect of weather on the deck materials is more significant, as moisture comes from the air and the ground. Decking boards are made from timber that is more resistant to moisture. If you choose to treat them, you should treat them with a finishing material that is designed for the treatment of decking boards. It is important to bear in mind that the decking boards will need to be repainted after installation or after a period of time. Choosing the right material and finish for your deck will therefore make it easier to maintain and use in the long term. In order to properly assess all the factors that affect the operation and longevity of the deck and to maintain its aesthetic appeal, we recommend that you consult a specialist on the most appropriate choice of deck materials.
